Duotone may be a new name for some, but the company has been around since kiteboarding first exploded back in the early 2000’s. ‘Evo’, ‘Vegas’, ‘Rebel’, ‘neo’, ‘Dice’ are just a few of the kite models that helped push the brand to become the largest and most respected kite manufacturer in the world. Previously known as ‘North Kiteboarding’ the name was changed to ‘Duotone’ in 2018 when it’s parent company, ‘Boards & More’ decided to terminate its licence with ‘North Sails’.
Caribbean Kite Cruise has been in partnership with Boards & More since 2011. Every year the top pro riders from Duotone (previously North Kiteboarding) join the catamaran in the best Caribbean kite and wing destinations to test the latest equipment and shoot new videos. Don’t worry, you don’t need to ride like a pro to join one of our trips – but why not ask a Duotone team rider to join your trip! Please contact us for more info on our Duotone Pro Clinic options.
As Duotone ambassadors we offer our guests the opportunity to try out a selection of the worlds most popular kites, wings and boards. At our base in Union Island we stock various sizes in the Evo, Neo Rebel, Mono and Juice Kites and boards can be tested free of charge for up to 1 hour. For all the Wingfoilers we stock Slick and Unit Wings and Fanatic Foil Boards in different sizes. Please let us know in advance what you want to try out so we can have everything at your disposal.
If you prefer to travel light and avoid airline baggage fees, we also offer our guests attractive rental packages at 50% of the local rate. Please note that this option is only available to competant riders in all round conditions. If you have just learnt to kite and would like to take the rental option, we offer an ‘intermediate package’ which includes 5 hours of private lessons.
